UMR Engines carry an Australia Wide limited warranty for a period of 6 months or 10,000 km or 250 hours which ever occurs first.
The limited warranty is effective from the date of purchase. Items need to be assembled/fitted by a qualified technician in order to be covered under our product guarantee. It is the installer and buyers responsibility to ensure all components purchased are the correct fitment for the item that it is replacing. No warranty applies if the component or parts have been incorrectly fitted, or has been mistreated, poorly maintained or damage to the parts have been cause by associated parts. No warranty also applies to the component if it is used for other than what it was designed for, or the part has been subject to abuse, misuse or abnormal conditions. It is the owners responsibility that the component or part/s undergoes periodic maintenance.
Warranty does not apply to performance or non standard applications.
Parts sold that have been modified to suit any other application other than originally intended carry no warranty.
Piston rings
Piston rings have a limited guarantee, We do not offer refund or product guarantee on fitment faults leading to breakage of rings. Piston rings usually break due to incorrect fitment.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure caused by the product.
